Wall Street Stock Market -- scam going on now
The FEDs have given a break to the banks by lowering the rate at which they borrow money.
Guess what they are doing with it?
Reinvesting in the stock market!
But they are going to do this slowly...so that it appears as if the market is climbing back up, trying to get the average person to think that there is a rally going on.
But then they'll pull the rug from under you again when the time is ripe!
Don't be fooled! It's a scam! Keep your money out of the stock market!

Canadian Police Caught Attempting To Stage Riots
Authorities admit rock-wielding "black bloc anarchists" were really police infiltrators
Quebec provincial authorities have admitted that three rock-wielding mask-wearing "anarchists" were in fact police infiltators used to gather information on protesters at this week's SPP summit, but authorities are still ludicrously denying the fact that the provocateurs were intent on causing a riot in order to justify a heavy-handed response.

Burningman Weather Report:
http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Forecast.aspx?location=USNV0033

Thu Aug 23 BRC: WEATHER It's going to be a HOT Burning Man - report from the Playa
http://people.tribe.net/giselle/blog?topicid=239555dc-7b1f-45bc-bd81-264d82ef962b
Today, it's even hotter, at least 100 degrees, but gorgeous! Calm, clear, and almost beach like.
The playa is unusually soft and crumbly, and in center camp, there are already deep ruts in it,
at times, you can sink into ten inches of powder.
There is wireless access all over the playa this year, thanks to a generous donor.
(Hint: I bet it's those wacky guys who started Google

Report from the playa: There is so much fine playa dust of the ground
looks and feels like you're walking on a very fine sand beach. Not solid ground at all. It's not like that everywhere by any means, but it is in enough places that when wind kicks up it will be majorly dusty. Dustproofing your tent this year is a good idea. Use an old sheet and duct tape to cover the mesh.

Black Rock .. .DUST !!!!
Oh great! just what we want MORE Dust:. I also heard there was VERY little rain this year, probobly an issue.
rg This email from the DPW:
If you are coming out to Black Rock CIty
Hey everyone, I've been on the Playa for 2 weeks
now and I just wanted to give some advice to anyone coming out for
the event. We have had MAJOR dust storms as the playa is powder
fine this year. Of the past 4 days, 3 have had white out dust storms
lasting anywhere from a few hours to all day long. All the people
coming in will only add to this, so be prepared for some intense
weather out here. Bring lots of bandanas, extra goggles, dust proof your
tent before you get
out here, be prepared for longer set ups and long
lines at the gate.

 	  BRC Playa weather
Greetings from the playa where I am happy and well
and holded up in my car. I dont want this to deter anyone from coming, as
it's still a blast - but..batten down the hatches kids, cause the wind
is the worst I've seen in the 12 years I have been coming here. For those of
you around when the big wind hit last year and took our camp down, that is
the way it has been the bulk of the time - really that windy, mostly non
stop. The airstream is shaking and rocking and my tent is tied to every
rack and bumper and hitch the truck & airstream have, and I'm still unsure if
it's going to hold up (one pole already snapped). The white out's are
lasting a long time, some well over 5 hours. I hear it has been like this for
  weeks, dont know if it
will continue through the event. but the green man
  is about nature, so be
prepared for the force of nature to remind us how
  small we are! The good
news is that it's warm thus far, even in the middle
  of the night. However,
the garage tents around here seem to be holding up
  when they have no walls
   &
are tied down every few feet - who knows, maybe the
 wind will subside. in
case it doesnt, i suggest that if you are debating
 between a tent or a
van/suv, you pick the car. be sure to put
 everything in bins that have
locking lids, and in ziplocks inside those. if your
 tent has any open
netting areas that do not zip closed with a solid
 fabric, i suggest glue
gunning a fabric onto them, closing them up
 permanently, before you come
here (fabric on the outside of the tent, so it's
 between the tent & the
rainfly).you can always cut it off later. mine has
 a few open ones and
theres a good 1/8 inch layer of dust inside, on top
 of the bed, the floors,
everywhere. had to sleep with dust mask last night.
 too much to keep up
 with
& too late to close them off. the wind/dust is
 coming from the same
direction as always so be sure to park your cars in
 a way that blocks it
from anything you put up. and lots of bungees, ive
 been through 20 just for
my tent. phil - great decision in sleeping in the
 rider truck. i think that
is all to tell - just a whole lot of wind. will
update you if it stops. am
still having a total blast, the wind is part of the
 fun for sure, and look
forward to seeing you'll in a week!

PS - wind reminders -fully enclosed goggles for day
 & night (not only dark
ones), things that light up so u can be seen,
 bungees, rope, 2 ft long
reebar - more than you think you need, heavy
 lotion, lip stuff, babywipes,
giant sheet or tarp or something to cover all the
 stuff in your tent (to
stop dust from getting into your bed), and lots of
 soft towels - more than
 you think you need. xx

Sat Aug 25: Really Really Free Market Noon-Dusk Dolores Park
A Really Really Free Market is like a potluck for whatever you want to give or take away. Have you ever brought one dish to a potluck and gone away with a full belly and a balanced meal? Everybody brings something and goes away with more.
We all have skills, ideas, objects, smiles, talents, friendship, excitement, discussions, and many other things to share. If we bring them all together at the Really Really Free Market, we can provide more balanced and full lives for everyone. As a community we have many more resources than we do as individuals. If we share our resources we won't need to buy as many new ones. This uses fewer of the Earth's resources, and fewer of our working hours, leaving us more time to devote to ourselves and our communities. Would we all work forty hours a week at one job if we didn't feel we had to? What if instead we worked at improving our individual skills and talents and shared them with each other? We would all spend more time doing things we enjoyed. The Really Really Free Market is an attempt to put these ideas into practice for four hours every month and then spread the seeds everywhere - share, share, share.
Please help us keep the Really Really Free Market a 100% FREE and non-commercial event. Once a month, let's come together and forget about trading, bartering and money. Leave the business cards at home and remember the joy of giving for the sake of giving. Help us keep Art SF clean. If no one takes what you brought, please bring it home with you.

2:52am total eclipse begins
4:22am total eclipse ends

Mon Aug 27 Eve of FULL MOON and FULL LUNAR ECLIPSE
Dark Side Of The Moon Poetry Slam and Pink Ffloyd Pajama Party Monday, 10 pm to 5 am
Come out, come out and express your wildly creative muse with Silicon Village for a poetry slam, dance party and lunar ritual in celebration of the full lunar eclipse. Gather at the HotD stage and Coyote Bar on the Silicon Village Plaza at 10 pm to wax poetic. At midnight we gather on art cars and bikes in front of the SV Archway for a convoy to the trash fence, where we'll hook up with the Playa-wide dance party. Noise permitting, we break at the apex of the eclipse for a moon celebration and ritual, led by the Temple of All Gods. Wear your pajamas to bounce and boogie on our furry air-mattresses.

There is going to be a total lunar eclipse on the night of the 27th of
August and the very early morning of August 28th. It should start about
11:00 to 12:00 PM on the 27th and end about 3:AM on the 28th. We will be
able to see the entire eclipse at the Burning Man event. This will be the
first ever total lunar eclipse at the event.
Here is a link to a site that explains the timing of the total lunar eclipse

Aug 28 Full Moon + FULL LUNAR ECLIPSE

Full moon: Monday night- Tuesday morn August 28 at 2:35 a.m. So the
sky will be bright in Black Rock City, except for the therefore even
more spectacular...
http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/phase/phase2001pst.html

Monday night- Tuesday, August 28, 2007:
TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE in Black Rock City. 1:51 am-5:24 am PDT, with 3:37
am = mid-eclipse. BRC just makes it into the 'All Eclipse Visible' zone...
http://sunearthgsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/lunar.html
http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/LEmono/TLE2007Aug28/TLE2007Aug28.html
August's lunar eclipse is well-placed for North and South America as
well as the Pacific, eastern Asia and Australia. All of North America
will witness some portion of the eclipse, but western observers are
favored. The early umbral phases will be in progress at moonset for
observers in Maritime Canada. From the eastern USA, the Great Lakes
region and Ontario, the Moon sets in total eclipse. Only observers to
the west of the Rockies (including Alaska) will be treated to the entire

Pacific Ocean, New Zealand and eastern Australia.

RhythmWaves Total Lunar Eclipse Dance Event
12:30 to 3:30 am August 28 (Monday night / Tuesday morning)

Late Friday night-Early Sat morning Aug 31- Sep. 1:
Aurigids, a rare and spectacular meteor shower will be peaking at 4:36
a.m. in the east- north eastern skies. Visible from Nevada. It will
last about 1.5 hours. Best to watch between 4 and 5 am, with up to 160
Aurigids meteors per hour.
http://aurigids.seti.org/
This very rare shower will occur again on 1 September 2007. A brief
shower of tens of meteors will radiate from the constellation of Auriga,
many as bright as the brighter stars in the sky. The Earth will be in
the thick of it during the one hour centered on 04:36 a.m. PDT. The
shower will be visible by the naked eye from locations in the western
United States.
Best viewing: Keep Moon out of field of view (best to block behind
obstruction such as telephone pole, then watch whole sky), avoid city
haze that scatters moonlight
Best direction: East and Northeast
Best time: Start one hour before peak, then see the rate of meteors
increase and decrease while Earth travels through the shower

INTERACTING WITH THE LAW AT BURNING MAN
Our Survival Guide reminds you that Burning Man's remoteness doesn't
give us a free pass to live outside the law. Burning Man supports all
local and federal laws, and expects you to uphold them during your time
in Black Rock City. There are representatives from five Law Enforcement
agencies in our fair town, and you should be aware of their presence and
how to interact with them when you meet.
We consider Black Rock City a peaceful community...and we love to see it
stay that way.
Here's the Survival Guide page on the matter:

A participant shared this video with us to share with you. It's called:

9/11: Blueprint for Truth- 130 Architects and Engineers Examine the Evidence with Richard Gage, AIA, Architect,Tuesday September 11, 2007 7 pm, Grand Lake Theater, 3200 Grand Ave., Oakland
Bay Area Architect Richard Gage, AIA, will discuss the features of all 3 World Trade Center building collapses. Not only the Twin Towers, but also 47-story World Trade Center Building #7, not hit by an airplane, completely "collapsed" on September 11, 2001 at nearly free-fall speed.
Architects and engineers are especially invited to attend this event.
"The tall, strong Twin Towers were broken into very small pieces and massive clouds of dust long before anything hit the ground," Gage observes. "We did not see them 'collapse' that morning - we saw them explode into dust and individual steel components. Watch the videos for yourself - they are widely available on the Internet (including ours at www.AE911Truth.org) and they all show the same essential features. Flashes of light and sounds of explosions were witnessed by 118 first responders - recorded by the FDNY. Huge rubble clouds formed immediately and symmetrically outside the buildings as they fell. The destruction was of amazing speed, evenness, and thoroughness, that it could only have been very carefully engineered and planned in advance."
Tons of molten iron "flowing like lava" was found by demolition crews and by Leslie Robertson, the World Trade Center structural engineer. This observation can only be explained by the use of thermite, an incendiary used by the military to cut through steel. Chemical analysis on the steel and the dust performed by physicist Steven Jones, Ph.D., and 3 other scientists found the classic signature traces of thermite.
Gage has been joined by more than 130 architects and engineers who have signed an online petition to the members of the House of Representatives and the Senate demanding a truly independent investigation with subpoena power.
Gage has made his presentation to several California architectural firms, colleges, and universities. At the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada, he and author Barrie Zwicker spoke to over 500 people at two events. More than 90% of those in attendance agreed with his conclusions.

9.21 Reverse Trick-or-Treat Woo Hoo! The SFShenanigans crew is up to it yet again!
We are going to be dressing up in our best "classic" Halloween costumes, carryin' around and givin' out candy to riders on the BART trains.
You are invited to come Treat-or-Tricking with us at 6PM on Saturday July 21st!
We will be meeting on the BART platform at Civic Center station, on the end closest to the Embarcadero. Bring you, your friends, your costumes, and candy to give out to all the good little (or big) girls and boys on the BART trains!
We'll Treat-or-Trick until our candy supplies give out. After that, knowing us, we're gonna end up at a bar.
PS. If you happen to find the mother-lode of cheap candy in the city, send us an email: MasterNaught @ gmail.com

"All the property that is necessary to a Man, for the Conservation
of the Individual and the Propagation of the Species, is his
natural Right, which none can justly deprive him of: But all
Property superfluous to such purposes is the Property of the
Publick, who, by their Laws, have created it, and who may therefore
by other laws dispose of it, whenever the Welfare of the Publick
shall demand such Disposition. He that does not like civil Society
on these Terms, let him retire and live among Savages. He can
have no right to the benefits of Society, who will not pay his
Club towards the Support of it."
